ITALY, Bruttium, Croton (Kroton), (420-400 B.C.), silver nomos, stater or didrachm (7.318 grams), obv. eagle standing to left, holding serpent, rev. tripod, QPO to left, to right ear of barley, (S.471, cf.SNG ANS 348/-, BMC 73). Cleaned, grafitti in field on reverse, otherwise fine and rare.
