MACEDON, kingdom of Philip III, (323-316 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.612 grams), Marathus mint, obv. Herakles head right, with lion skin, rev. Zeus seated to left, eagle in outstretched hand, **ZW* monogram to left, AP monogram under throne, to right **FILIPPOU* and below **BASILEWS*, (cf.S.6749, Price P162, M.P113, SNG Fitz. 3208). Very fine/good very fine, scarce.
