ITALY, Lucania, Metapontum, (c.400-350 B.C.), silver stater, (7.5 grams), obv. head of Apollo to right, rev. corn ear, [META] to left, (cf.S.410 [£550], Noe 461 [same dies], SNG Lockett 393, SNG ANS 349 (same dies). Off centred on the obverse, otherwise good fine and very rare.
