OTHO, (A.D. 69), silver denarius, issued 69, Rome mint, (3.218 grams), obv. bare head to right of Otho, around IMP OTHO CAESAR AVG TR P, rev. Securitas standing to left, holding wreath and sceptre, around SECVR I TAS P R, (cf.S.744, BMC 19, RIC 12, RSC 15). Attractive dark grey tone, very fine and very rare.
