BRITISH TRADE DOLLAR, pure silver (.999), proof of pattern five ounce, medallic issue, dated 1997, issue made as a uniface strike by Royal mint, in plush lined Royal Mint case, obv. Britannia standing left, as issues of 1895-1935. FDC.
1 of only 2 examples struck, Royal Mint production of type never proceeded with.
