ITALY, Bruttium, Croton (Kroton), (420-400 B.C.), silver nomos, stater or didrachm (7.6 grams), obv. eagle standing to left, on olive-branch, head raised and flapping its wings, AI below, rev. tripod, [KPO] to left, to right heron over **D*, (cf.S.471, SNG ANS 365/368). Cleaned, edge porosity on reverse, otherwise nearly very fine and rare.
