THESSALY, Pharsalus, (400-344 B.C.), silver drachm, (5.9 grams), obv. Athena head to right in close fitting helmet, ornamented with wing, rev. horseman prancing to right, **FA[RS] around horse, within incuse square, (cf.S.2191, cf.SNG Cop. 220). Some surface porosity, otherwise nearly fine and rare.
