AEOLIS, Myrina, (after 165 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.69 grams), obv. laureate head of Apollo of Grynion to right, rev. Apollo of Grynion standing to right, holding phiale and laurel branch, omphalos and amphora at feet, XN monogram behind, also **MYPINAIWN, all within laurel wreath, (cf.S.4216, ANSMN 30, cf.Sacks 26.38, SNG Fitz 4327 [same obv. die]). With some mint bloom, weak in places, otherwise extremely fine and rare.
