BARODA, Sayaji Rao III (A.H. 1292-1357, VS 1932-1995, A.D. 1875-1938), Baroda mint, silver rupee, portrait type, small flan (28mms), year VS 1953 (1895), (KM. Y.36a). Attractive grey tone, extremely fine with some underlying mint bloom.

Ex. Stan Goron Collection, then Robert Senior, England, and Noble Numismatics Sale 47 (lot 2271).
