BUKULLA VINEYARDS, McIntyre River, Inverell, one pound, currency note dated Sept. 24/1870, number No.215, watermarked 'WHATMAN 1865', note is cross cancelled, marked Paid Jany. 17/71 and stamped Commercial Banking Company of Sydney, Inverell, with signature on back, serrated left edge, blue on white, (Vort-Ronald type 1a, [p.23 & 25]. Fig, 32 illustrates a similar example). Two corners missing, some tone spots, folds and creases, otherwise fine and scarce.
