GRATIAN, (A.D. 367-383), silver siliqua, Aquileia mint, (1.600 grams), obv. pearl-diademed bust of Gratian to right, around DN GRATIA NVS PF AVG, rev. VRBS ROMA, Roma enthroned to left sitting on cuirass. holding Victory on globe, AQPS in exergue, (S.4133, RIC 15b, RSC 87). Grey tone slightly clipped, good very fine.

Ex Antiquarius, New Zealand, with their ticket, purchased in 1982.
