CIGAR CASE, in silver plate, hallmarked (GP 50), of Russian manufacture, inscribed 'Taken from / Russian Officer/ at Sebastopol/ September 1855.' at top 'From Joseph Laycock to J.P. Overend', engraved with vignettes of lovers kissing on one side and ornamental scroll work over front and back. Fine.
This case has been in the possession of a Rockhampton family for many years.
