TRIO. 1939-45 Star; Air Crew Europe Star; British War Medal 1939-45. Unnamed.

In box of issue addressed to mother, with next of kin slip, 112051 Sergeant Gordon Clelland W.Op.A.G. who served with 419 (R.C.A.F.) Squadron. On the night of 16May1942 he took off in Wellington Z1562, the only British member of an otherwise Canadian crew, on the way to lay mines off Ameland in the Frisian Islands. The aircraft failed to return and was posted missing on 17May1942. With research.
