GROUP OF NINE: Order of the British Empire (CBE) second type military commander's neck badge in gilt and enamel; 1914-15 Star; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal; Defence Medal; British War Medal 1939-45; Australia Service Medal; Jubilee Medal 1935; Coronation Medal 1937. A.C.W. Mears RAN. Court mounted for wear. Last two medals unnamed, others impressed. Very fine.

CBE: L.G. 11 June 1942. 'For distinguished services as Naval Engineer Officer HMAS Cerberus II.' With research including copy of photograph of recipient and extract from Who's Who.
