Paul Alexander Hayes, No.20404. Born 8Jun1905, died 2March1980 at Rotorua. Served with NZASC. March into Narrow Neck basis camp as bandsman corpoarl on 6Jan1940, promoted Sergeant 24Apr1940, embarked for U.K. 3Jan1941, wounded in Crete May 1941, repatriated to New Zealand June 1941. Entitled to 1939-45 Star; Africa Star; Defence Medal; British War Medal 1939-45; New Zealand War Service Medal.
