OPENING OF THE VICTORIAN EXHIBITION, 1872, award medal in white metal (47mm) by Stokes & Martin (C.1872/3 obverse, 'Awarded to...' within wreath reverse). Edge bruises, A.C.N. scratched into reverse. Otherwise good very fine and extremely rare. $ A similar example was in Noble Numismatics Sale 54 (lot 664)
