MACEDON, Kingdom of Alexander III, (336-323 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.95 grams), Pella mint, issued 315-310 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to right wearing lion skin, in dotted border, rev. Zeus seated to left on throne to left with eagle in outstretched hand, to left trident head, to right **ALEXANDROU, below under throne A over dot, (cf.S.6713, Price 261, BMC 261, M.108). Some porosity on reverse, otherwise good fine.
