MACEDON, Kingdom of Alexander III, (336-323 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.47 grams), Ake mint, issued 330-327 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to right wearing lion skin, in dotted border, rev. Zeus seated to left on throne to left with eagle in outstretched hand, to left uncertain date, to right **ALEXANDROU, (cf.S.6713, cf.Price 3248). Some porosity on reverse, otherwise good fine.
