CORINTHIA, Corinth, (350-306 B.C.), silver stater, (8.62 grams), obv. Pegasos flying to left, Q below, rev. head of Athena to left, wearing plain Corinthian helmet, dolphin above, ivy leaf and thymiaterion behind, (cf.S.2627-8, Calciati 312 variant, BMC 166, Ravel 856 [same dies]). With original mint bloom, a very sharp and attractive reverse, about as struck, extremely fine and a rare symbol.
