MYSIA, Pergamon, Kingdom of, Eumenes I, (263-241 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.58 grams), Pergamon mint, obv. head of Philatairos to right, laureate, dotted border, rev. Athena enthroned to left, supporting shield with ivy leaf under arm, A on throne, bow and **FILETAIPOU* to right, (cf.S.7217, ACNAC Dewing 2207, Westermark Group II, obv. die VII [Plate I], rev die 3, SNG Von Aulock 1354 [same dies]). Light edge horn silver and minor porosity and surface scratches, otherwise very fine and rare.

Westermark knew of only 1 coin from these dies, the same obverse die was muled with four different reverse dies of which 6 are known, for this type or group with shield to left she only notes the existance of 47 examples.
