AUGUSTUS AS OCTAVIAN, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), silver denarius, uncertain Italian mint (probably Brundisium, maybe Rome), issued 29-27 B.C. (3.51 grams), obv. Apollo laureate head to right within linear circle, rev. [IMP CAESAR] in exergue, Octavian veiled and laureate ploughing with yoke to right, and in left hand a whip, (S.460, RIC 272, C.117, BMC 638). Off centred, otherwise fine and rare.
