AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), silver cistophorus, Pergamum mint, issued 19-18 B.C., (9.64 grams), obv. bare head of Augustus to right, below IMP IX TR [PO V], rev. MART in field to left VLTO in field to right, either side of circular round temple of four columns, containing vexillum, (S.-, RIC 507, C.202, BMC 704, Sutherland 583 [obv.68, rev. 46]). Surface scratches, very good and rare.
