Binding becoming loose on volume I, some water staining on the cover of Volume II, otherwise fine clean contents, a rare original set. (2)
Ex. Library of Ken C. Welch, Penrith Australia, with his bookplates. The standard work being the only major text on this series of medals of Great Britain to 1760. It is also the prelude to the Lawrence Brown publications in three volumes on this series struck since 1760, which are also in this sale. A most important set of volumes which are offerred very rarely for sale.
