A4 format catalogues, both are important for the quality Greek and Roman coins in these sales. Norman Davis' collection was written by H.A. Troxell and published as a volume by the American Numismatic Society as a ACNAC (Ancient Coins in North American Collections) volume in 1969. Norman Davis was also author of other numismatic publications and historical books on ancient coins and civilizations (a pamphlet in the lot illustrates and describes these books).
