BAYONET. Japanese 30th year type (1897 Pattern). Standard bayonet used in both world wars on the 'Arisaka' rifle. With fullered single edged blade 400mm in length. The ricasso bears the triple circle mark of the Nagoya Arsenal, together with the mark of the Nagoya sub-factory where it was produced. Overall length is 511mm. Together with steel sheath. Generally very fine.
