WORLD WAR I, broadsheet official Australian anti German propaganda poster, Norman Lindsay text and illustration in colour (76 x 51cm), designed for mailing. One of a series, the main theme of this one being 'The Gospel of Frightfulness'. Postmarked Melbourne, 18th October 1918. Intact, clean, some tears along foldlines which have been repaired with tape, otherwise fine.
