VISIT OF THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH, (1867) uniface trial of a pattern obverse die in lead (55mm) by Thomas Stokes. With die crack running diagonally across medal. Evidence of possibly being mounted on reverse otherwise extremely fine and excessively rare.
