ANGLO SAXON, Edward the Elder, (899-924), silver penny, two line type, Wessex mint, (1.52 grams), obv. small cross in centre, around EADVVEARD REX, rev. DIORA MONE in two lines, divided by three crosses and trefoil of pellets above and below, (S.1087, North 649. Nearly extremely fine and scarce.
