ITALY, Lucania, Thurium (Thourioi), (400-350 B.C.), silver stater, (7.7 grams), obv. head of Athena to right wearing crested Athenian helmet, ornamented with figure of Scylla, rev. bull butting to right, **QOU[RIWN] above, small tunny fish below in exergue, exergual line, (cf.S.442; SNG ANS 1017 [same dies]). Very fine and scarce.
