ITALY, Lucania, Thurium (Thourioi), (c.350-281 B.C.), silver stater or didrachm, (7.75 grams), obv. Athena head with Attic helmet to right, surmounted by Scylla, rev. bull butting to right, above **QOURIWN and QE, (cf.S.447, SNG ANS 1081, SNG Munich 1199, BMC 78). Dark colour with off centred obverse, some light porosity, otherwise nearly very fine.
