THRACE, Byzantion, (357-340 B.C.), silver tetrobol, (2.57 grams), obv. cow standing to left, foreleg raised, above **PU*, rev. qudripartite incuse square of mill-sail pattern, another similar Bithynia, Calchedon (c.400-350 B.C.), (2.52 grams), obv. bull to left on ground line, rev. as before, (S.1582, 3739, SNG BMC Black sea 36-41 [Pl.II], 118-123 [Pl.V]). Very fine. (2)

An interesting similar pair from two separate cities separated by the Bosphorus Strait (Asia and Europe), who obviously employed the same die cutters for their coinages.
