PHRYGIA, Apameia, (after 133 B.C.), AE 23, (8.9 grams), obv. helmeted bust of Athena to right, rev. eagle alighting upon meander pattern between caps of the Dioscuri, **[APAMEWN] above, below **ANTIFWN over **MENEKLEOUS, (cf.S.5120, BMC 46, SNG Cop.164). Good very fine with attractive dark patina.
