SYRIA, Kingdom of, Demetrius II, first reign, (145-140 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (13.8 grams), Tyre mint year 167 (145 B.C.), another (12.9 grams) Sidon mint year 169 (143 B.C.), obv. diademed head of Demetrius to right, rev. eagle standing left, legend around, another Antiochus VII (138-129 B.C.), (12.5 grams), Sidon mint (cf.S.7055, 7056, 7094). All porous flans, scratches and polishing, otherwise good - nearly very fine. (3)
