SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria, Aradus, Caracalla (A.D. 198-217), silver tetradrachm, (13.6 grams), issued 215-217, obv. laureate head of Caracalla to right, around most of legend AYT KAI ANTWNEINO C, rev. eagle standing facing, head to right, wreath in beak, between legs crescent, around **DHMAR EX UPATO*CT O D], (cf.S.2649, Bellinger 11 [ANS Mum. Studies No.3, p.70, Pl.XVI, 11]), others of Nero, Antioch mint, Caracalla and Macrinus both Emissa mint, (S.617, 2652, 2950). All with porosity, first very fine, others very good - good fine, last two without silver. (4)
