EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy III, (246-221 B.C.), AE 39, (47.8 grams), Alexandria mint, obv. diademed head of Zeus Ammon to right, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, looking back, cornucopiae over shoulder, below E between legs, around **BASILE[WS] PTOLEMAIOU, (S.7815, Sv.974, SNG Cop 228). Weak in places, otherwise good fine.
