VESPASIAN, (A.D. 69-79), silver denarius, Rome mint, issue of A.D. 72-73, (3.29 grams), obv. IMP CAES VESP AVG PM COS IIII, laureate head to right, rev. VICTORIA AVGVSTI, Victory advancing to right, holding palm and about to place wreath on trophy, (cf.S.784, RIC 52, RSC 618). Nearly very fine/fine and scarce.

An issue celebrating the victory over Judaea.
