DOMITIAN, (A.D. 81-96), AE as, Rome mint, issued A.D. 85, (11.3 grams), obv. laureate head of Domitian to right, around IMP CAES DOMIT AVG GERM COS XI CENS POT, rev. Victory advancing to left, holding shield inscribed S P Q R, S C across field, (S.-, RIC 302a). Dark patina, slightly off centre on the obverse, otherwise nearly very fine/good fine, scarce.
