HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, issued 118, Rome mint, (3.46 grams), obv. laureate, draped on far shoulder, head to right of Hadrian, around IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG, rev. VOT PVB across field, Pietas veiled standing to right, raising both hands, P M TR P COS II around, (S.-, RIC 47, RSC 1475). Well centred on the obverse, good very fine and very scarce in this condition.
