SEVERUS ALEXANDER, (A.D.222-235), silver denarius, issued 222-228, Rome mint, (3.65 grams), obv. laureate bust to right, draped, around IMP C M AVR SEV ALEXAND AVG, rev. AEQVI TAS AVG, Aequitas standing half left, holding scales and cornucopiae, (S.2202, RIC 127, C.9). Brilliant, good extremely fine and scarce in this condition.
