GALERIA VALERIA, second wife of Galerius, daughter of Diocletian, (A.D. 305-311), AE folles, issued Thessalonica mint in 308-310, (5.9 grams), obv. diademed and draped bust to right of Galeria Valeria, around GAL VAL ERIA AVG, rev. Venus standing to left holding apple, around VENERI V ICTRICI, in exergue .SM.TS., star in left field, **G* in right field, (cf.S.3730, RIC 36). Has been cleaned, good very fine.
