CONSTANTINE II, (A.D. 337-340), AE folles, issued 325-326 as Caesar, Alexandria mint, (2.9 grams), obv. small laureate bust to left draped and cuirassed of Constantine II, around CONSTANTINVS IVN NOB C, rev. camp gate two turrets, six stone layers, around PROVIDEN TIAE CAESS, SMALB in exergue, (cf.S.3948, RIC 36 [R2]). Some silver traces on surface, extremely fine and a very rare type.
