RIOT AT BALLAARAT, Report of the Board appointed to enquire into circumstances connected with the murder of James Scobie at Ballaarat and the burning of the Eureka Hotel.

It was the murder of James Scobie on 6th October 1854 and the subsequent investigation into the murder that triggered the Eureka Rebellion.
