THRACE, Maroneia, (after 148 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (15.8 grams), obv. head of young Dionysos wearing ivy wreath to right, rev. naked Dionysos standing facing head to left, holding grapes and two narthex wands, around **DIONUSOU SWTHROS MARWNITWN, to left and right in field monograms, (S.1634, cf.BMC 62, cf.SNG Cop. 638). Nearly very fine.
