SYRIA, Kingdom of, Antiochus VII, (138-129 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.1 grams), Antioch mint, obv. diademed head of Antiochus VII to right, fillet border, rev. Athena standing to left, holding wreath, and other hand gathers drapery, **BASILE[WS] ANTIOC[OU]*, and to left **EU ERGET[OU]*, to left monogram of DI over AI, (S.7096, cf.Houghton ACNAC 268, SMA 302). Very fine, scarce.
