SYRIA, Kingdom of, Philip I Philadelphus, (89-83 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (15.9 grams), Antioch mint, obv. diademed head of Philip I to right, fillet border, rev. Zeus seated left on throne, holds Nike with wreath in outstretched hand, all within laurel wreath, on right, **BASILEW[S] FILIPPOU*, and to left **EPIFANOUS FILADELFOU*, to left N over A, (cf.S.7196, Newell SMA 436). Some minor porosity, otherwise good very fine.
