PARTHIA, Kingdom of, Mithradates I, (171-138 B.C.), AE dichalkos, (7.00 grams), Ecbatana mint, obv. medium sized bare-headed bust to right with beard, wearing diadem, rev. horse head to left, four line inscription, (S.7340, Sellwood 12.12, Shore 34 [this coin]). Dark tone, very fine and rare.
