PARTHIA, Kingdom of, Vardanes I, (A.D. 40-50), billon drachm, (3.2 grams), Mithradatkart mint, obv. long bust to left with beard, wearing diadem, star over crescent before, rev. archer seated to right, debased seven line inscription, M T monogram and dot under bow, (cf.S.5788; Sellwood 64.34 variant, Shore 356). Nearly fine, scarce.
