PALESTINE, Judaea, First Revolt, (A.D. 66-70), silver shekel, issue struck year 2 = A.D. 67-68, (14.2 grams), obv. chalice with pearled rim, around in Hebrew 'shekel of Israel', 'Year two' above chalice, rev. stem with pearled bottom and three pomegranates, legend around 'Jerusalem the holy' (S.5629, Meshorer 151, AJC 8, H.659, [121]). Good very fine and rare.
