HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 134-138, (3.04 grams), obv. laureate head of Hadrian to right, around HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, rev. around NILVS, Nilus reclining on urn holding cornucopiae and reed, crocodile below, hippopotamus before, (S.1092, RIC 310, RSC 991). Good very fine and rare.
