SOHO MINT BIRMINGHAM, George IV trial (circa 1830) penny struck in silver, obverse laureate and draped bust left by reverse the Kuchler Britannia die (Peck's KP 32). Both dies of slightly different diametre struck in a collar on a cast blank ( grams) the obverse die rusted. Virtually as struck and probably unique. Ex V.M. Brand and E.M. Norweb (lot ) Collections and Spink Australia Sale (lot 1273).
